Goodbye Hair!

Katy got her hair cut, and we were able to save it and sent it in to locks of love! She loves having it short, and I was so proud of her for waiting until it was long enough to give away.

We had "snow" much fun a few weeks ago, we got about 4 inches of snow, and the boys made the most of it! They made snow angels and this snowman that was over 6 feet tall. We hardly ever get snow here, and knowing it would all melt away really fast, we had a good time while it lasted!

Jayden's Columbia Cyclone 18u travel team played in the championships this weekend, in Columbia, SC. They played 4 games to get them to the finals, then won the championship 3 to 1! Congratulations!!!! It was so exciting to watch them all play together.

Our Family

We just got fall family photos taken by my friend, Tracy Seconi. I'm so excited about them, because we went somewhere and had them done on location for the first time. I'm sending one out in Christmas cards that's different than these, but these are a few of my favorites.

This Summer in South Dakota

We had a great trip out west this summer. The kids and I drove out to Utah, and spent 3 weeks all over the state. On our way home, we went to The Crazy Horse Monument, Mount Rushmore, and the Badlands while we were in South Dakota. It was awesome.
Please don't die of shock, but I'm actually updating this thing! I have to be the worst ever at this, and I'm sorry. I am gonna try and add some pics later, the last two times I've tried, I had errors and just haven't gotten back to it. Anyway, I just want to say our Thanksgiving was wonderful, and now we're getting ready for the holidays! I hope all my blogger friends are happy, healthy and staying warm!

Welcome to Nassau!

We sailed all night to get to Nassau, and spent all day saturday there. Here, we walked into town to see the shops, and a small part of the city. We sailed right past the Atlantis resort, it is awesome! On deck, one of the chefs carved this ice sculpture in about 20 minutes, it was awesome to watch! We went scuba diving on this day too, but I don't have any pics of that yet because I just took a little waterproof camera. It was a great experience for Bill and I to do that. We sailed out for about 45 minutes from the pier and the water in the ocean was as clear as ever the whole way out. When we got to the diving spot, it was only 12 feet or so deep. That night, we went to a formal dinner all dressed up and it was so much fun! We had such a great day seeing and experiencing new things! What a beautiful place!
